Sim Smith is pleased to announce the gallery’s participation in The Armory Show with a solo presentation by British artist Tim Garwood, opening from September 5 to 7, Booth P20.
The gallery will present a new body of work by the artist, abstract paintings of tactile immediacy linked to the rural landscape in which he works. His investigation into the material will see works made across sack cloth, lace and canvas with objects and mark making oscillating freely between suggestions of place, collective experience and association.
