This painting was from the same photoshoot with Gaia and Brandi. It was a quick interaction but the composition reminded me of the renaissance painting 'Gabrielle d'Estrées and One of Her Sisters' (Unknown Artist). This painting was made with a lot or restraint. More than usual for me. I wanted to leave it as a very subtle and delicate painting. The title was initially taken from the Broadcast album Tender Buttons and I was connecting the ephemeral, atmospheric sound with the images I was making.
